Michael A. Barracato

Michael A. Barracato concentrates his practice in school law, special education law, and litigation. He earned his bachelor’s degree in education from St. John’s University, his master’s degree in educational leadership from Adelphi University, and his law degree from the University of Illinois Chicago. Before entering the practice of law, Michael spent 15 years serving as both a building-level and district administrator, where he gained substantial experience in educational leadership, school operations, and institutional decision-making. His background in education gives him a distinct perspective in advising and representing clients on complex legal matters involving schools, students, and public institutions.
