Judith A. Kott

Judith A. Kott received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2003. She received a Master’s degree in political science from Illinois State University, and a Bachelor of Art’s degree from Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, California.

Ms. Kott has represented defendants in commercial litigation defense, school law, employment law, and foreclosure defense cases. She also has experience representing plaintiffs in First Amendment Constitutional law cases (including a Section 1983 Class Action lawsuit), commercial litigation, estates and trust litigation, and personal injury litigation. Ms. Kott has litigated and successfully tried cases in both the state of Illinois and the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She also has experience in successfully resolving cases through various means of alternative dispute resolution. Ms. Kott’s current areas of practice include representing clients in commercial litigation, breach of contract claims, school law, retaliation claims, and various other litigation matters. She seeks to be a zealous advocate in her representation of clients.
