John M. Izzo

Overview
John M. Izzo was a founding member of the firm, where he served as a partner until July 2023. He currently serves as Of Counsel to the firm. For two years following his graduation from law school, he served as law clerk to Illinois Appellate Court Justice George W. Lindberg.
Since 1984, his legal practice has focused in the areas of school law, park district law, real estate taxation and local government finance, appellate work, constitutional law, election law, and board procedures. He has also acted as counsel to numerous educational and municipal officers electoral boards.
Mr. Izzo has been a frequent presenter to organizations such as the Illinois Association of School Business Officials, and the Illinois Local Government Finance Officials Association, and the League of Women Voters.
